Purple keto smoothie with blackberries in honour of Purple Day
Today is Purple Day! Every year on March 26, Purple Day is celebrated worldwide. The initiative was founded by Cassidy Megan, a young girl from Canada, who wanted to bust myths surrounding epilepsy and support and create understanding for people with epilepsy.
By wearing purple and participating in Purple Day activities, individuals and organizations show solidarity with people who have epilepsy and contribute to educating others about the condition.
I’m proud to be part of this movement by sharing the recipe for a delicious Purple keto smoothie with blackberries in honour of purple day. This is a tribute to all people living with epilepsy and to the ketogenic diet that has helped many to have fewer seizures.

Additional Tips:
- For an extra burst of flavor, you can garnish the smoothie with fresh blackberries or a pinch of cinnamon. The ratio will be lower.
- Adjust the sweetness to taste by adding more or less sugar-free raspberry syrup.
- To make it lactose-free, replace the full-fat cream with coconut cream and the Greek yogurt with a lactose-free variety. The ratio must then be recalculated.
